Empowering Health Workers For Child Safety: A Step Toward Stronger Communities
Our Health Workers Just Became Child Safety Champions!
Rachapalli & Thondangi just witnessed something POWERFUL!
Our SFLB Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions took a beautiful turn this time —
not with school staff, but with our real everyday heroes:
ASHAs
ANMs
MLHPs
These are the people who walk into our homes, care for our little ones, and always show up when we need them most.
Here’s what they learned:
Body Awareness – how to teach it clearly and confidently
Safe Touch vs Unsafe Touch – how to identify & explain it
Handling Unsafe Situations – calmly & effectively
Speaking to Children – with care, love & trust
With the strong support of the District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), this was a BIG step forward in protecting every child in our villages.
“Child safety is not just a teacher’s job… It’s EVERYONE’S responsibility – including our health workers!”
Let’s raise awareness, protect innocence, and build safer, stronger communities together!
